About the handle:
- Includes 12" Pole handle section
Due to heavy use and time, a pole may sometimes wear through the rubber grip on the Earthtrekgear Folding Trekking poles. To change the top handle section, simply remove the top section by releasing the adjustment button, pull the old handle section off and replace with the new section, making sure the adjustment button is locked into place before using.

What is the outer diameter of the your walking pole at the top; where the new handle section would fit? Is a lubricant needed to install the new handle, such as a powder or water?
The outside diameter of that section is approx. 3/4 of 1 inch (or 2 cm). If you are using one of our walking pole replacement handles, found at https://earthtrekgear.com/products/replacement-handle-walking-pole it will fit exactly, without the need for lubricant.
