How to measure for height:
- Fits most hikers 4'8" to 5'4"
- For most comfortable use, measure height requirement for purchase
- From ground up, measure to the center of your hand, with your elbow at about a 90 degree angle.
- Actual pole height: range is approximately 37"-40"

I am 5’ tall. The max I should use is 37 inches. One part of your description says your range is 37 inches to 40 inches. Somewhere else you say it only goes down to 39 inches. I don’t get it that would be the shortest it goes if it can also be used for children. does it actually go down to 37 inches? (my non-foldable pole is actually set it 36 inches since 37 is a stretch for me)

How do you lock the poles?
The poles lock on their own, held together by an internal elastic cord, and each section has a snug fitting compression. It locks together almost instantly after removing from the bag, requiring no need for clips, or added locks.

If I order it today, how long will it take to get to Florida. Also the rubber attachment is included?
We ship by first class mail for single poles. Priority mail for 2-pole orders. We may be able to ship this afternoon if it's ordered in the next hour. It typically takes 4 business days to arrive in the East Coast. We are in Reno Nevada.
Yes, every pole comes with one included rubber tip. It is already attached to the pole tip. -

I am measuring @ 42'' with my elbow at a 90 degree angle.. Just want to make sure the shorter pole is the correct size. I am 5'6". Thank you for your help.
We are posting this again here, 5'6" is at the border. I recommend the short pole, at the longest length.

can I take these on an airplane
In general, no. However, many users have found ways to take them on, reasoning with TSA that they need them for medical and walking support. Every airport TSA manager is different on this item.

Are these sold in pairs or does one have to order 2 poles to get the pair? Is their a left and a right pole?

The short size has been great for me. At 5'4" I find the middle setting the most comfortable. I use it mostly for stability. However, after a morning of using it along a rough and muddy trail, I was surprised to discover that the mud basket had somehow worked its way off the screw-threads and had fallen off. Are replacement mud baskets available?

We are happy this pole has worked well for you. Unfortunately, at this time, the only accessories we have available are tips, feet, and handles. This may be the first time we've heard of the mud basket coming off, but if you ever plan to purchase another pole, (which has one), let us know.
